"I won't lie to you, fatherhood isn't easy like motherhood."
Homer Simpson
Having been a stay at home dad for nearly five years and with the number of dads deciding to stay home on the increase, I thought that a website made specifically for us dads was in order. A website where we could come and find information, read what other home-dads are saying, let our opinions be known, have a bit of a moan and to indulge in some dads toys.
So if you are a stay at home dad or are thinking of becoming one, please browse through the site and feel free to send me your own comments or opinions.
Take a look at what is on the site:
Having children is an expensive business so on this page you will find information and advice on benefits, children’s savings accounts and tax-free saving.
If you like gadgets and, let’s face it who doesn’t, then this is the place for you where there are lots of new gadgets and funky toys for you and your children.
Find out what really annoys and irritates other stay at home dads when they let off some steam in their own personal rant. And if you've got something to moan about then why not submit your own Reader’s Rant, where you can complain and whine to your hearts content.
See what other stay at home dads are saying and what they are thinking. Do you agree with their sentiments? Why not have your say and let me know what your views are on anything to do with parenting.
If you have any questions, suggestions or would like to write something for the site please use the form here to get in touch. All feedback and submissions are gratefully received.
I would like this website to be as interactive as possible, with lots of contributions and submissions from other stay at home dads. So if you have any ideas, comments, suggestions or would like to write anything for the site please go to the 'Contact Me' page, select your topic and type your message. All messages received will be read and I will try to include as many as I can onto the website.
To make the site totally interactive I need your input so please do feel free to send me your ideas and submissions. And just remember in whatever you face as a stay at home dad YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
