As a stay at home dad you know that looking after your children is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, highs and lows. However perhaps the most difficult times to deal with are when your children are ill.
Because children have low immune systems, poor hygiene standards and often mix with lots of other children, they are more likely to become ill more often than adults. Also children are more accident prone than most adults and they have to face a variety of common diseases and illnesses.
With this being the case it's important that you, as their full-time carer, know when your child is ill, what may be wrong with them and how to look after them.
So this section of our site is designed to help you understand some of the illnesses that your children can catch and how to deal with them. We also take a look at the list of immunisations that your child will be given or offered while growing up. As well as this we highlight some first aid techniques and skills that you may need to use whilst caring for your children.
Remember that being a stay at home dad comes with the responsiblity of caring for your child's health and you should know as much as you can about the health issues you and your children may face.
